Leprinxol provides a range of lubricants from conventional products to high quality products. Leprinxol has a product line of biodegradable lubricants formulated from native oils and synthetic ester as well as synthetic lubricants. Leprinxol produces and markets more than 600 different products fulfilling a number of important requirements in the industry.

The history of our company dates back to 1868.
Clement Leprince and commerce councillor Wilhelm Siveke founded a factory for machine greases and machine oils and developed the brand "Leprinxol".
1901 was the breakthrough year for “Herforder Maschinenfett und Ölfabrik Leprince & Siveke“ in Herford: Dr. Wilhelm Normann joined the company in 1900 and found a method to cure greases which created the basis for the production of margarine. This 3-phase-system from liquid, firm catalyst to gaseous hydrogen is Normann’s sole and unquestionable inventor’s property and helped the margarine industry to enormous profits, but at this time its creator already had to struggle with economic problems.
In following years, the company converted to a corporation. In spring of 1922 Normann accepted the offer from the successors to Leprince & Siveke to join the management team. In the same year 5,000 stocks were transferred per 1,000 DM. Today the company produces lubricants, machine oils among other products under the name of Leprinxol GmbH.
The cleaning agent "Fewa" is another product developed by Dr. Normann. Normann was then honoured by lending of the Liebig commemorative coin. On August 19th, 1972, a school was name after Dr. Wilhelm Normann.

On 23/05/2002, Axel Kaste and his wife, Nikola Kaste, founded Leprinxol GmbH in Bremen, and the Leprinxol brand was revived again with new business. Initially, there were regional sales of car and industrial lubricants. In 2002, the Leprinxol brand was also registered with the German Marken- u. Patentamt (Patent and Trade Mark Office) and it now has international registration.
In 2003, the first export business could be concluded with the Lebanon. Today, Leprinxol lubricants are sold throughout the world. Inter alia, partners are in Taiwan, Korea, Lebanon, South Africa, Venezuela, Austria, Denmark, Sweden, Poland, the Czech Republic, Slovenia, and many more countries.
As of 01/10/2004, a dealer agreement was concluded between Petro-Canada Europe Lubricants B.V. and Leprinxol GmbH. This was the start of a very valuable partnership which oversaw much successful business. As a result, the product portfolio was extended by premium products of a global brand which has its own base oils, refineries and very modern lubricant manufacturing facilities – a milestone.
In the years which followed, the company invested in its own fuel depot, warehouse and attracted many new customers and dealers. Today, the company has expanded to include new divisions and it is constantly growing. Thus, the export business has expanded and is attracting new customers. Direct marketing has been established in Germany. The wholesale trade with its bulk business, that is to say base liquids and finished products from the Rotterdam fuel depot, has grown steadily.
